QUINCY – Police plan to crack down on underage drinking in Quincy in the coming weeks with the help of a $10,000 grant.The money, which was provided by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Highway Safety Division of the state’s Executive Office of Public Safety and Security, will help pay for liquor-law compliance checks at Quincy shops and restaurants to ensure they are checking IDs and not serving or selling alcohol to minors.The [...]
