After The Enterprise requested records from the first drunken driving charge leveled against him, the Weymouth Police Department provided a report from December 1998, which states that current state Sen. Michael Brady, D-Brockton, slammed through a utility pole at a "high rate of speed," and admitted to drinking "a lot of beers" at a Quincy bar before the crash. Brady was arrested on Saturday and charged once again with operating under the influence of liquor.
