ABINGTON – The Police Department is warning residents to beware of a telephone scam that has targeted residents throughout town in recent weeks.The scam features individuals claiming to be from the IRS calling residents and demanding money. Police have received a half-dozen complaints from residents saying they received the scam calls, said Police Chief David Majenski. "Don’t fall for it.
