QUINCY — Police are investigating a hit-and-run in Quincy on Aug. 18 as a hate crime.Quincy Police Sgt. Karyn Barkas said a pedestrian was struck around 1:15 a.m. the morning of Aug. 18 on Victory Road in Marina Bay. The victim was taken to the hospital, she said."Based on statements given by the victim, it is being investigated as a hate crime," Barkas said Friday.
