BRAINTREE —A police officer was struck by a vehicle at South Shore Plaza while she tried to apprehend a shoplifting suspect on Sunday, according to officials.The Braintree Police Department said the officer who was struck suffered very minor injuries and was not transported to a hospital.According to police, the officer was pursuing an alleged shoplifter from the Lids Locker Room store on foot when she was struck.Officials said they believe the suspect is [...]
